  • Harvest Festival

    29th October 2017 - Kingston Park Academy

    Well done to the whole school for their harvest festival concert at St Johns Church. You all looked very smart and sounded brilliant.

    Also a big thank you to everyone who donated food for our local charities and to all the parents who took the time to come and help us walk to the church.

    There were ghosts and ghouls everywhere in primary today when all our pupils were invited to dress up for Halloween fun.

    Who are all these scary monsters and superheroes in the Little Granger's today?  We even have a special little princess who is 3 today.

    A massive thank you to every one who came to the Halloween Disco on wednesday. The children had a fantastic time,there were lots of brilliant costumes. well done to our prize winners. A big thank you Mr Blain our  DJ for providing us with great tunes to dance to.

    Congratulations to Jaden Ethan in Year 1 who has become the first pupil in KS1 to achieve the Bronze Award by reading six books.

  • Year 3 Trip to Flamborough

    26th October 2017 - Pheasant Bank Academy

    As part of their topic work learning about the Stone Age, Year 3 had a school trip to Flamborough on Friday 20 October.  They visited the beach where they explored the coast and they went on a hunt for fossils and rocks.

     

     

     

     

  • Doncaster In Bloom 2017

    26th October 2017 - Pheasant Bank Academy

    The awards for Doncaster in Bloom 2017 were presented at the Mansion House last night (Wednesday 25 October).  Mr Jerrison, our Site Supervisor, attended with our Year 4 Stormbreakers pupil and Pheasant Bank picked up 6 gardening awards!  Mr Jerrison said "Thank you for a brilliant evening and well done to all at Pheasant Bank Gardeners".

    We hope you enjoyed the harvest assemblies performed by our reception, year 1 and 2 children today and yesterday.

    On behalf of Doncaster Foodbank we would like to thank everyone who donated items of dried, tinned and packet food, toiletries and baby food which will go towards helping many of people from our surrounding community. In 2016, Doncaster foodbank gave out 4000 emergency food parcels to adults and children in crisis in Doncaster. This amounts to over 40,000 meals provided to local people who might

    Year 7 and Year 12 Parents’ Evening will take place on Tuesday 24th October 2017, 4.30 pm – 7.00 pm. This evening is an opportunity for you to meet with your son’s/daughter’s teachers and discuss their work, effort and progress so far this year. If you do not have any concerns about your son/daughter and are happy with the progress they are making, you do not need to attend.  If you would like to attend, we would encourage you to bring your son/daughter with you.
