    12th September 2017 - The Vale Academy

    Time remains for Year 6 pupils to choose The Vale Academy as their secondary school next year.

    While an Open Evening and Open Mornings have taken place, anybody yet to make up their mind can give us a call and meet with a senior member of our team.

  • DC6 Events: Open Evenings

    11th September 2017 - The Doncaster Collegiate Sixth Form

     

    The DC6 Sixth Form Open Evenings will be taking place across each campus during October and November 2017.  We warmly welcome all Year 10 and 11 students to come see what makes our Sixth Form so special. And to speak to our staff about the 50+ courses we have available.

    A little boy in KS1, told staff his dream was to sit in a police car. Luckily for Whetley Academy, PCSO Curtis Lodge, was only too happy to fulfil his dream. As you can see in the picture the children thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

  • Rewards Assembly Start for New Year 11

    8th September 2017 - Manor Croft Academy

    Our new Year 11 had their first rewards assembly this week to celebrate their fantastic results from their first real GCSE in Year 10.  They have already achieved some great results which will give them confidence as they start Year 11.  We also celebrated some excellent science mock results where we had a number of students hitting the new grade 9!

  • 100% ATTENDANCE 2017-2018 REWARD

    7th September 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    During this academic year 2017-2018, students who show commitment and dedication by attending 100% will be rewarded - with a trip to Lightwater Valley theme park in June 2018. 

    To be in the running for this reward, students simply need to attend the academy each day throughout the academic year 2017-2018, ensuring that they arrive on time, fully equipped, and get registered.   • POST 16 TEAM BUILDING

    6th September 2017 - Ash Hill Academy

    During the afternoon of Wednesday 6th September 2017, Post 16 students at Ash Hill Academy took part in Team Building activities delivered by the British Army Engagement Team. The whole session was planned as part of the Post 16 Induction process and the academy’s Enrichment program, which each give our sixth formers access to new information regarding career progression.

    All students will receive a free tie and one jumper when they start back to the Academy either Tuesday or Wednesday. There has been a delay in the supply of the PE kit, for this week students can wear their old PE kit or any appropriate active wear, e.g. tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt.

    Evidence of Extreme Reading is being sent already!

    Some amazing places have been found to sit and enjoy a good story, we've had in a caravan, on a ferry, very high up over looking Ullswater, in the swimming baths, at the hairdressers, sat on a pony and even infront of the turntable at Kirklees Railway!

    Keep them coming in - they are going to make an amazing display!
